Frequently Asked Questions
Let’s get this frequently asked question out of the way right off the
bat, where’s the bathroom?
At each venue restrooms will be clearly marked and directions freely given
when asked.
Our routine was choreographed to USASF rules and guidelines; will the
routine be legal at your event?
If your routine is legal under USASF rules and guidelines, then your routine
will be legal at our event. Understanding that most routines are
choreographed to USASF guidelines our rules were created so that they would
be consistent with the current guidelines. You will find after reading our
rules, they are more practical, less restrictive, more “play” room for teams
to work within, especially in tumbling. We have modeled our rules under what
we feel is a better progression of stunts and tumbling while maintaining
safety as the main focus.
Are video cameras and photography allowed at your events?
Video taping and photography is allowed at all Complete Cheer & Dance events
with the following restrictions. The use of a tri-pod is prohibited. You may
not block the isles or judges view. Please note at most events, professional
DVDs will be available for purchase.
Are we allowed to have signs, noise makers, and balloons?
Noisemakers and balloons are not allowed at any Complete Cheer & Dance
event. For the use of signs please check the facility information section of
our web site.
Can we save seats for our team and our team fans?
Unfortunately you can not save seats for others. All Complete Cheer & Dance
events are general admission. There will be an area reserved at each event
for fans of the team that is competing on the performance floor.
When will the performance order be posted?
The performance order, complete with warm-up and performance times will be
posted online one week prior to the competition date. The performance order
will be located on each competition’s individual web page.
When will results from each competition be posted?
We will make every effort to post results within 48 hours after the
conclusion of the event. (It depends on how cooperative my computer is!)
Can we bring food or beverage into the venue?
Outside food and beverage is prohibited by the venues. There will be
concession stands available at each event to purchase refreshments
When will we receive our score sheets?
We are currently working on carbonless score sheets so each team can pick up
their score sheet immediately following their awards ceremony. Until that
time, score sheets will be mailed out within a week of the completion of the
competition. Verbal critiques will be emailed to the coach as soon as
possible. Please make sure all email addresses are accurate and legible.
Can we talk to the judges after an event?
If there is a question or a problem with a score sheet, a team director
and/or coach may fill out a resolution form. A meeting will be set up with
the head judge, safety judge or owner depending on the nature of the
problem.
Can a Cheerleader or Dancer participate on more than one team?
As long as the participant meets the grade/age requirements of the team
there is no limit. However in the all star divisions, crossovers are not
allowed to perform on a team that is more than 2 ability levels lower than
their highest level.
What is the admission cost of each event?
The admission cost can be found on each event page, under general
information. Admission cost will also be posted on the performance order.
On each competition page it states that there will be games, prizes and
door prizes, what are they and who can participate?
Approximately one week prior to the event, a sneak peak will be posted
listing a few of the games and a brief description of each. When you arrive
at the event, look for the games table, it will clearly be marked. Seated at
the table will be a Games Director or an assistant who can help you sign up
for a game, or better explain the game. Posted at the games table will be
the times that you need to be available to play the game. We don’t want
anyone missing their warm-up time, so please check all times very carefully.
All games take place on the main competition floor, so you can’t be shy and
must be willing to have a ton of fun. Although some games may be specific,
i.e. competitors only or adult only, the majority of games are open to
everyone. Spaces are limited, so be sure to head over to the games table
when you first arrive. There will also be information about “team” games at
the registration/check-in table check in. Everyone who plays a game will win
a prize; the winner of course will receive a very special prize. Door
prizes, really it’s more like raining prizes, keep your head up and eyes
peeled, you never know when one of our staff members may be tossing goodies
into the audience or handing them out directly to the crowd.
